Memorable Italian meal! Cozy elegant atmosphere. Good variety of wines by the glass if you don’t want a whole bottle. We shared a burrata and an arugula salad for the appetizer, then we each had our own pasta dishes. My wife had the linguine vongole and I had the tagliolini lamb ragu. The vongole was generously covered in clams and the ragu had abundant sauce. Both were flavorful and filling. Service was efficient, respectful and not rushed.

We were a group of 7 coming in from out of town on the Friday to watch the Canadiens game. Based on a recommendation, we decided to visit BIS that same night. Let me tell you - we were not disappointed. The menu selection was plentiful, but some of us decided to go with the specials like the Rabbit, and the Lasagna. Just phenomenal! Everyone loved the food, wine, and service so much that we decided to go back the next night after the game. This time many of us had the lamb shank with linguini. Another home-run! Merci Marcello, Donovan, and staff for making our guys weekend one to remember. See you again.

Paloma was outstanding! She looked after us with great attention to detail. She was personable, helpful, and paid a lot of attention to ensuring the pace of the meal was what we wanted. I would definitely come again, in part because the ambiance was romantic and our table was perfect, , but mostly because of the amazing Paloma!

Wonderful. Can't recommend it enough. Great food. Relaxed atmosphere. I had Nduja sauce with penne and burrata dollop. Bis is as good as it gets.

I don’t even know how to start this review, the food, the service, the atmosphere, the experience? It was so excellent that I kept thinking about our experiences at Bis during the rest of the day. It was my first time with a friend here, Marcelo, the manager, greeted us and made us feel home, the waitress was so kind and professional, another waiter was so attentive that it made me feel like I am having the meal of my life. The meat balls were phenomenal, the wine that the manager suggested was exquisite, the warm fresh bread, the olive oil and balsamic were by themselves a tasty meal. The ragù left me speechless, even though I was full, I couldn’t stop eating it. My friend got the osso-buck, the meat was so tender that you can mistake for butter, even the bone marrow had an exquisite taste, as to my coteletta, it was perfection… Just perfect, thin enough to feel light and thick enough to enjoy the breaded meet. The endive salad was so tasty that I felt lost and needed a whole afternoon to just enjoy every bite. Then we had to go all the way and have a full, complete meal. The Limoncello was refreshing, the tiramisu and crème brûlée were to die for, and even the biscotti that is served with the espresso was from another world. To sum this up, this place to me is the best Italian cuisine I have ever had the pleasure to experience, each individual visiting Montreal like myself should try Bis Ristorante. As for the locals you guys are lucky to have this restaurant in your city. Five stars is an understatement, thank you Bis and your team for doing what you do.

Biz Ristorante in Montreal undoubtedly offers some of the best lamb dishes I've ever tasted! The flavors are absolutely spectacular, with each bite showcasing tender, perfectly seasoned meat that melts in your mouth. The preparation is exquisite, using fresh ingredients and traditional cooking methods that elevate the dining experience. Whether it’s roasted, grilled, or stewed, the lamb dishes are always a highlight of my meals here.

Very atmospheric Italian with very jolly staff making sure everyone enjoyed themselves. Food was excellent, very tasty and generous portions. The wine recommended was great, and I appreciated that the waiter recommended the best suited to our food, not the most expensive. A lovely evening.

We had reservations here from a suggestion from a good friend. It really hit the mark! The meatball “amuse bouche” could be skipped. If i were to suggest something, make meatballs from the house lamb ragu, that would be a much bigger hit. It’s also a taste of your signature dish, should the table want to order it later. All of our dishes were great. Two of the four of us opted for the duck special, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The other two got the lamb ragu dish, which they loved too. Desserts were good as well. Shared the profiteroles and the crime brûlée.

First visit. Will def return. Visiting Montreal for the weekend from Ontario. Made a reservation (preferred). Our server, Paloma, was exceptional. Attentive, friendly and professional. (And we were offered to taste the wine we selected to ensure we liked it) We were not rushed,.which was appreciated. Loved that they poured the olive oil/balsamic at our table) The food was amazing - fresh, authentic Italian. Portions were larger than we expected. I had gnocchi and husband had pork cheek carbonara. The mini meatballs (complimentary) were delicious. Great ambiance, low lighting and music in.the background - not loud. Perfect for a date night. Thank you! 😁
